The 43rd edition of the Copa America, also known as the South America Football Championship, will take place in the capital city of La Plata, within the Buenos Aires province of Argentina.
The Copa America is the oldest continental national football tournament in the world. The competition is held every four years with ten South American national teams participating.Mexico and Japan were also invited to attend the 2011 champiosnhip.
